Attending INTERGEO Expo and Conference this year was an unforgettable experience.
INTERGEO Expo and Conference is one of the world's largest trade fairs for geodesy, geoinformation and land management. Each edition brings together instrument manufacturers, software vendors and surveying practices around the latest advances in capturing and processing spatial data.
The instruments, the innovation and the technical advances on show were genuinely inspiring: new-generation laser scanners, ever-lighter drones fitted with LiDAR sensors, and software solutions to automate point-cloud processing. Several of these technologies are already part of our own 3D laser scanning and drone photogrammetry work.
GEOREVO was glad to take part in an event where leading data-capture solutions took centre stage. Trade fairs like this are a chance to measure our own field practice against industry trends, and to spot the tools that will enrich our services for our clients across Switzerland tomorrow.
Our work covers the whole chain on show at INTERGEO: from classic land surveying to structuring data in a geographic information system, by way of 3D capture and modelling. Taking part in events like this keeps us sharp on every one of these links, for the benefit of our clients across Switzerland.
