1. Data controller

We process your data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where it applies, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We only collect the data needed for the purposes described below.
2. Cookies and trackers
This site uses no cookies, no advertising trackers and no third-party analytics tools. No profile is built and no data is passed to advertising networks. That is why no consent banner is shown.
3. Visitor statistics
We measure traffic with an internal counter run on our own server, with no cookie and no identifier stored in your browser. For each page viewed, we record only:
- the page viewed and the time of the visit;
- the site language;
- the device type (computer, tablet or phone) and, where applicable, the domain name of the site you came from;
- an anonymous code that changes every day and cannot be used to follow you from one day to the next. Your IP address is not stored.
The counter is switched off when your browser sends the “Do Not Track” or “Global Privacy Control” signal. This data is kept for 13 months at most. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used in order to improve it.
4. Contact form
When you write to us through the form, we process the data you enter: full name, email address and the content of your message, plus your phone number and company if you provide them.
Purpose: to answer your enquiry and, where relevant, prepare a quote. Legal basis: your voluntary approach and our legitimate interest in responding.
Your message is stored on our server, hosted in Switzerland (see section 5). For security and to prevent abuse, we also record your IP address and information about your browser; both are erased after 30 days. The enquiry itself is kept for two years, then deleted.
5. Hosting and server logs
The site is hosted by Infomaniak Network SA (Geneva, Switzerland), on servers located in Switzerland. Like any web server, it keeps access logs containing the IP address, the date, the page requested and information about the browser. These logs are used for security and to keep the service running; they are not used for commercial purposes.
6. Maps and external services
The map on the Contact page shows base maps supplied by CARTO and OpenStreetMap, as well as by swisstopo. Loading them sends your IP address to these services, which may process it outside Switzerland. Links to LinkedIn, Instagram, BIMREVO and MAPREVO are plain links: no data is sent until you click them.
7. Recipients of the data
We neither sell nor rent your data. It is passed on only to the providers needed to run the site (hosting, maps), or where the law requires it.
8. Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, unauthorised access and misuse: restricted access to the administration area, separation of the site and its data, and automatic deletion of expired data.
9. Your rights
You may at any time:
- request access to the data we hold about you;
- ask for it to be corrected or deleted;
- object to its processing or ask for it to be restricted;
- ask for your data in a commonly used format (portability).
Write to us at info@georevo.ch, attaching proof of identity if necessary. We reply within 30 days and free of charge. You can also lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), edoeb.admin.ch.

This policy may be updated if the site or the law changes. The version in force is the one published on this page.
